When choosing what type of carpting you want to install, it is important to choose a style that will both fit your style preferences as well as have the durability you require. This will ensure the carpet will last as long as possible while still looking good. You want to be sure the style of carpet you choose is comfortable under your feet and durable enough for the location it is being installed.
There are 4 different styles of carpet that you can use in your home.
Carpet Styles
Loop
Loop construction carpet has dense, looped strands and a low profile for a clean, low-maintenance look. This style is great for high traffic areas due to its durability.
Pattern
Pattern style carpet uses a variation between loop and cut strands for a look that can provide intricate or simple patterns. This low-profile style handles traffic beautifully.
Texture
This style works well with any room and provides typically more comfort than any other type. This style is typically more comfortable than any other style, it is one of our most popular looks.
Frieze(Twist)
Frieze carpeting has a more relaxed feel due to its long yarns. The long twists provide a 3D look and adds a bouncy spriny feel.
Carpet Installation
After you've made the choice for your new carpeting, it is time to prep your home for the installation. There are some minor things we need from you to ensure the installation goes as quickly and painlessly as possible. Our expert carpet installation team has years of experience installing all forms of carpet in North Atlanta.
Pre Installation Procedures
If your carpeting is an in stock item, your installation could be scheduled immediately. If your flooring is not an in stock item, your project manager or our scheduler will get in touch with you when your order is in and then schedule your installation.
Access to all areas being covered is required. Please make sure that we can have easy uninterrupted access to the work locations on the scheduled installation day.
Please have the temperature for all installation areas set to at least 70 degrees or warmer (the warmer the better for acclimation purposes) for 24 hours prior to and 24 hours after installation.
Pets we love, but please make sure that on the day of the installation, they are safe and secure.
Furniture
We are not professional movers and hence we will not be responsible for any damages if we have to move your furniture. It is however your responsibility to remove linen off of beds, anything under beds, on closet floors, guns, safes knickknacks, all breakable items, electronics, valuables, anything personal or of sentimental value and any low hanging clothes. If you are moving all furniture yourself, the entire installation area must be emptied of all furniture and the closet areas must be free. GA Flooring, INC cannot move or be responsible for moving large items of furniture (e.g., pianos, waterbeds, pool table, and grandfather clocks). We will not touch nor move any guns, safes, electronics, anything that is personal or of sentimental value.
